Our 1975 MG Midget.
She is original down to the last nut and bolt except for a few sensible upgrades.
She was first registered on the 20th June 1975 and has covered only 17300 mils in nearly 50 years. I have been her keeper since buying her from Silverstone Auctions, Race Retro sale in 2013. She had only covered 8000 miles then and in time warp condition. She is quite pampered now, only coming out on sunny days when the roads are free from water and salt. Her body is free from any signs of corrosion and She wears her original paint showing a patina that only 50 years can produce. She lives outside in a heated Carcoon, where not even dew forms on her. Her engine is strong and willing with a wonderful exhaust note. Her gearbox is tight and fun to stir. Her interior is immaculate, warm and comfy cozy. She has a discrete but excellent sound system with no head unit. She has been sound proofed throughout so she sounds wonderful with or without the music on. In short she is incredible with a wonderful personality and she will look after you whatever your event needs. She is small but her boot space can accommodate 2 aircraft carry on bags. Plenty for a romantic weekend.
