Every car enthusiasts must surely recognise the MGB. They were in production from 1962 until 1980 and are about the most popular of classic cars. An exhilarating 2 seat convertible sports car, the MGB received a revamp in October 1967. The changes were enough for MG to declare the iteration a Mark II model. Changes included altering the transmission tunnel to accommodate a modified gearbox, with revised ratios and synchromesh on all four gears, thus doing away with the need to learn the art of how to double declutch in order to avoid grinding the gears into first.

Our car was made in the spring of 1969, so benefits from this improvement. It also features overdrive, to give a more relaxed driving experience. It is an absolute joy to drive, giving smiles per mile by the bucket full. Perhaps the most iconic colour combination is the bright vibrant red with black leather interior that our car has.
